Our detailed Snow Reports and live updates are submitted by local Ski Clubs, ski resort staff and our users. Interactive weather maps show the amount of predicted snowfall as well as the current snow conditions and weather observations. The snow maps also show where the best piste conditions, off-piste powder and forecast weather for skiing and snowboarding can be found.

“Went up to Whakapapa last Friday, amazing, lots of snow. The staff were just fantastic. It was a great experience. The restaurant was lovely and clean. All the staff were welcoming. I hope everything is sorted for next year. What a well run business. The lifties were so great holding the seat back for us. I have nothing but praise for the team at Whakapapa and the facilities. And the snow was amazing, brilliant day.”

Roundhill ski resort:
“Great skifield for learners as the terrain is wide and open. The mountain is well-organised and the grooming is impeccable. Now the cons. Alcohol is freely used by the public and is also sold on the mountain, as the field is essentially family-oriented I am uncomfortable with alcohol being openly consumed around children. During special event days, there is very little connection and involvement with mountain management.”

Mammoth Mountain ski resort:
“Mammoth is a good time, spring skiing was amazingly good when we went in May. The snow was corn goodness, they stayed open 'til August in 2023! The staff made that happen, and that's the intangible which make the place special, the spirit of Dave Macoy? The Eastern Sierra? For the love, something though, its a happy mountain with really helpful and cheerful staff, people are generally stoked (and in this day and age (its gold). Demo ski set up best I've ever seen, all top bands all new, can swap out with ease at 4 locations.”
